Friday Eve

Another Thursday's done.  Years ago, we called Thursday night "Friday Eve."  If Thursday night stretched out too far, all you had to do was survive a Friday to get back to it.  Friday's are supposed to be all good, so it was like Thursday night was the beginning of the weekend.

That's no longer the case.  Now, Friday night seems like Monday eve.  Thursday's like 4th Monday.

I'd like to get back to the "Friday Eve" interpretation, but I can feel my body saying, "No."  I feel like I could shake the rust off and give it a go.  Maybe I'll give it a try, one of these Thursday nights.
