Live and Learn

Plans change as light and energy wane.  If something doesn't have to be done, it's way too easy to just not do it.  Before you know it, it's 30 years later.

Lots of people fall off the same metaphorical cliffs.  After a while, even those who don't learn by watching others fall off the ledge, will have enough bodies below to cushion their fall.  That's how chasms of the unknown get filled with knowledge.

Learning can take a long time.  It can be painful.  Some simply don't survive.
