Day Planning
I haven't been productive this morning. All I've done is drink coffee, feed the cat, and watch Youtube videos of abandoned places. I've thought, once or twice, about making a new game plan for the day. The issue is that I already had one. Sloth fights dirty.
Maybe I'll just enjoy this beautiful day without sweating and achieving any goals. That almost hurts my feelings to type. Time seems too valuable. Really, though, like Randy Owen sang in Alabama's #1 hit, "I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why)": "All I really gotta do is live and die." Why ruin it with work?
I can come up with a few reasons. For one, undone stuff nags at me. I'll worry about the weather later in the week keeping me from completing those tasks if I wait. Also, these tasks need to be done, or they'll grow into larger, more complex issues. It also puts me in a better mood, knowing they're done.
Maybe I'll just sit here, enjoying the weather and caffeine, until it becomes tomorrow's issue.
