Happy Halloween!

What a difference a year makes.  Halloween will at least have power, this year.  Last year, the electricity was out, and had been for days, in the wake of Hurricane Zeta.  There was no water.  The only thing we had was a fire, guitars and a small transistor radio.

There were also no worries that the politicization of healthcare would threaten the livelihoods of millions of Americans.  The threat of pandemic seemed a passing over-reaction... only visible in the rear-view mirror.  Thoughts were of a positive future, once the debris from the hurricane was gone.

A year sure changes things.

So, go watch a scary movie, tonight.  Don't sleep well.  You should be scared.
