Bark and Chainsaws

Rain patters on the patio as it has pretty much every evening for the last forever, it seems.  A consequence of this heavy rain is heavy tree limbs.  Two were found blocking my driveway this morning.  This afternoon, before the rains came again, they were cut up and removed.

Humid heat steals breath.  Dragging and carrying the dismembered limbs, their leaf-laden branches seem to slap and grab anything to prevent removal. Morale drops.

Soon, though, the drive is clear, again.  Limbs and their green foliage are gone.  Hopefully, tomorrow won't find more to replace them.
