War Update:

Stars and Stripes, the US military newspaper, is reporting that 127 military trainers and 1000 troops are still in Georgia, but are not believed to be at risk. This begs the question: why are they there? If they are not involved or 'engaged', why haven't they left? Are they protecting the embassy?

More than likely, if these soldiers are not engaged, they are guarding the Georgian portion of the Caspian to Black Sea oil pipeline. This seems to be the kind of thing our current administration would concern itself with. Hopefully, our forces ARE on their way home, although that's probably not the case.
