The Future isn't as Cool as the Future Used to Be

Future, as conceived in the 1980s, is the best.  Now is nothing compared to what now would've been, if written in the '80s.  Gritty and exciting, the '80s future was written by people who thought they'd never die.

The real future is isolated and bored.  80's future is interactive.  However, if '80s kids could be kids again, now, the future would be a lot cooler.
