Behaving Badly

You have free will.  Even under an absolute despot, you can choose your own path.  To be fair, that path may mean certain death, but it's still yours.

Most of us, including you reading, don't have to worry about that.  Our will is relatively free.  There's no ever-imminent threat of violence hanging overhead.

No one can make anyone behave any differently than they want to behave.  There's no one to blame for your bad behavior but yourself.  Not your parents, not your friends, not society... you, and only you, are to blame.
