Optimistic for Today's Tomorrow

I feel like there's been enough commentary on the topic of Friday.  If you can't find some sort of happiness where you are, you won't find it anywhere. Be happy today.  Friday may never come back around.

Okay, that's dark.  Friday will come back around.  You've probably got a couple thousand left, at least.

I was going somewhere with that line of thought.  It was an attempt to point out that if you can't find occasion to entertain yourself and be happy with what you have here and now, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything meaningful, elsewhere, at another time.  If that's right or not, I have no idea.

Sounds good, though, right?  I'm not saying be satisfied with less than you deserve, but that it's possible to find happiness.

There I go with that ridiculous philosophical-sounding nonsense, again.

You'll have to excuse me.  I'm pessimistically optimistic.
