Helping from the Past

Cleaning up a little before building some shelving in my utility room, I found a decades-old note from my late Mother.  I repainted the ceiling in my master bath, and after letting the roller tray and rollers dry overnight, absent-mindedly shoved them on a different shelf than I'd found them.  Pushing the items currently on the shelf out of the way dislodged something yellow.  It was the note from my Mom, hiding under some starch for the last 20+ years.

Finding the old school photos and this note just reminds me of how much she loved us kids.  She tried to make sure we always had what we needed.  We weren't always receptive of help, kids being kids who want to be independent, but she was there with it.
