Drawn In

What happens when you need to go back to the drawing board, but the infernal thing is gone? When you find it, someone else has been using it, rewriting your plan. Nothing you've done was right.

The world shifts shape, anyway. The drawing board has multiple axes. There have always been many planes.

Enough of this metaphysical nonsense. All we know is what we see. What we see isn't always the truth, but it's our truth if that's what we see.

When you draw a picture, even if it's just for you, when others see it, that can become their idea of your truth. It doesn't help to redraw the same picture over and over, either. Letting that picture stay on the drawing board may say more than the drawing, as well. Stop sniffing the markers.

The world will keep spinning. Dawn comes. Get a new board.
