Go For It

The present is all the past has left. Generations have come and gone. Now is the remnant.

The original intent of this entry was to write about how hard it is to take a chance on making a big change in life. I wanted to work out, in my mind, why the complacency of the present path is so much easier than the risk of change. That line of thought kicked me into thinking about how many risks forbears had to take to put these hands on this keyboard at this moment.

Their goals no longer matter. Right here and now is what they got. What will come of this "now" is unknown.

The future doesn't exist, yet. Don't worry about it, though. We'll make it up as we go, in the present.
