Go Back Outside

Not only will the revolution not be televised, it won't be on the internet, either. Look at the milquetoast, ineffectual content profligating across the world wide web. The reason there's nothing good on the internet anymore is because no one trusts it enough to put it there.

Cool has always spread by word of mouth. The internet hasn't changed that, it just made it easier for propaganda, in the form of pop culture, to be disseminated. The good, cutting edge stuff is still outside the normal means of distribution.

Maybe in the early days of the internet, like the early days of television, you could find revolutionary ideas, but not now. That cable coming into your home has become a conduit for the status quo. The best will have to be found in person.
