What's Your Angle?

Everyone sees the world from differing facets of reality. The perspectives are always askew, making the act of observing things from multiple viewpoints virtually impossible. We think to ourselves, "Just say what you mean," when what we really mean is, "Say it in a way that makes it possible for me to visualize what you mean."

The misunderstandings erupting from this are the root of almost all disagreements. Stopping to take a quick look from someone else's point of view isn't something most people feel they have the time or even the necessity to do. They know what they see from where they stand, and don't understand how it could possibly be seen any other way.

It's not about empathy or altruism. Just look at it from another angle. The negative connotations may just disappear.
