Thumbtacks and thread. Thoughts spinning an appealing yarn in the brain. It makes a straight line between two points when there is no connection.

Place the confirmation in the bias. Heap some delusion on it. Everything will seem right.

Remove the bias, though. Only the delusion remains. Maybe it'll be obvious.

Observations never just stay in the conscious mind. No, they'll always bury themselves in the subconscious. Every smell, sight or other sensory input will manipulate you without your permission.
