Shuffled

Interrupting the normal flow of conversation gives people the chance to show you if they have any interest in your opinion, whatsoever. You do it in one conversation, only, though. After that, you know where they stand. What you do with that information is up to you. Normally, if they don't value your opinion, that would be the last conversation in which you'd purposely engage with that person.

Ultimately, you have to decide if you care whether that person's opinion of your opinion matters enough to try to get them interested in what you think. Opinions are like... well you know. Take it for what it's worth.
