I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I do believe that there are a lot of political alliances that keep certain families in the ruling class in power. I think that can be safely stated as fact. Yes, public opinion ultimately decides the distinct 'who' in an election. However, public opinion can be swayed with enough money and clout.
