Changing Times
Time doesn't change. Moving hours around on a clock does no good whatsoever. Any perceived net gain from having to change the clock twice a year is purely imaginary.
Temperature changing back and forth has a real effect. Getting cold, hot, then cold again is real. Flopping the short hand forward and backwards on a man-made scale of time does nothing.
Only a statist would think you can take an hour from the bottom of the day and sew it to the top to make the day longer.
