Happy Birthday, USA!

250 years is a long time to a human.  It's not so long, however, to the history of humanity.  This republic has lasted a quarter millennium... with many hiccups and ideological compromises.  If we can return to our principles, abandoning the hopelessly attractive collective cesspool, maybe we can keep our dream of freedom.
