Stay in the Ruts

Water's back.  It'll be summertime before it's gone, again.  In the 23 years I've owned this property, the bottom has only been dry in the winter once or twice.

Some people try to avoid the wet spots on the gravel driveway by swerving onto the grass.  More than one has been stuck in the mud doing so.  It's amazing how many people no longer know how to drive on gravel roads.

Almost everything is paved, now.  The few dirt roads are wide enough to avoid low spots that hold water.  Very few narrow dirt roads still exist.  Maybe that's why folks don't know to stay in the ruts.
