Mercy Starves

Life never hesitates to let you know how much damage you can cause.  It'll name names.  It'll give you examples of all the happiness you'd rob.  Then, when you've convinced yourself you're not enough of a sociopath to follow through, it'll mock you for your hesitancy.

Thankfully, I sit here mercilessly devouring roast beef and all the trimmings.  No regrets.  None.
