What Happened?

Blink, and the world around you can change.  That kind of change isn't always for the best.  When you open your eyes, it can be a shock.

It happens fast, too.  The changes won't always be immediately obvious, but they've occurred.  Noticing can be disconcerting.  You never believe things could be so vastly altered so quickly.
