A Pause while Cooking

The smell of hamburger meat cooking is one of the best. Heads tilt up in recognition when they detect cooking beef. Bacon's smell is better, but hamburger is different. There's a mealtime heft to the aroma.

The sizzle is audible from the other room. Soon, it will be ready to eat. I will not be shy.
