Bleve of the Mind

The brain is a 360 degree organ. Inputs and outputs can come and go anywhere. Thoughts and reactions go beyond the Cartesian.

When an outlet is blocked while an inlet is not, there might be an increase in pressure. That pressure needs a place to go. If not given a path of relief, it will find one.

The flow might be so low from the inlet that the need for an outlet goes unnoticed until failure. It's important to find those outlets. Catastrophic failures are often impossible to usefully repair.
