Know What I Mean?

No matter how long you think about what you want to say before you speak, you will be misunderstood by someone. No amount of planning, ciphering on the best turn of phrase or calculating how it will be interpreted can alleviate this. There's always potential for misinterpretation; honestly or willfully, someone will get it wrong.

There's something to be said for saying what you mean. Interpretation is never fully in your control. Honesty and brevity are at least respectable concepts.
