Myspace
I logged on to my almost-forgotten myspace page a few minutes ago. I log on every once in a while to see if there is some relic decaying in my inbox. I was just looking through all the old pics, and realized there are pictures on there, taken the better part of a decade ago, that seemed recent to my memory. That is, until I noticed how YOUNG I looked in them. Strangely, I was hit with a tiny twinge of nostalgia.
Everyone thinks of the internet as a newish technology, but I can remember coding HTML in notepad 15 years ago, and the 'net wasn't new then.
I pretty much quit Myspace back in 2007. I also forgot my Facebook password then, too. I made a new account, but it wasn't the same. I've barely done anything with it, since then, either. It's weird that you can be nostalgic about something that's still pretty new.
