$2.3 Trillion 'Missing', said Donald Rumsfeld on 9-10-01

Where is the money going?

I think it all boils down to where politicians' loyalties lie. When you owe something to big money men, you have to give them big money. If your loyalites were to the troops, you'd make sure none of the money allocated to them was wasted or 'lost'.

So, let's see where loyalties lie with the remaining 2 contenders for the GOP nomination:

According to opensecrets.com, John McCain's top all-time contributors are: Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs. Hmm...

Ron Paul's top all-time contributors come from the US Army and US Navy, with the US Air Force coming in 5th.

So, McCain's loyalties will be to big-money bankers but Ron Paul's loyalty will be to the troops. I wonder which one of them will make sure the money allocated for the troops actually makes it to the troops?
