Spectrum Down... Again!

Say what you want about the old landline phones; in their time, they were rarely, if ever, out of service.  Prior to the 2000s, I don't remember our phone service ever being out.  As a matter of fact, I remember people using the 24v DC from the phone connection to run things when the electricity was out.

Cable internet, which is what most people utilize to connect to the world from home, now, is routinely out of service.  It's almost like they purposely take it down.  Why would a company accept such regular failures?

It's probably because we've begun to accept it.  That's how things fall apart.  Accepting inconsistency leads to even more.
