For Your Consideration

Every five or ten years, those fresh in the adult world, full of enthusiasm and devoid of necessary life experiences, demand to enact things that, at first glance, seem positive.  After careful consideration, they would come to the conclusion that those same things are wrong.  However, there's no careful consideration.  There's only reactionary behavior.

Ten, fifteen... maybe even twenty or thirty years from now, they'll regret those decisions.  Well, maybe not regret, but they'll definitely not be advocating them.  

Why isn't there a way to encourage consideration before we all have to suffer the effects of every well-intentioned idiot?

Eventually, all of the bad decisions will pile up and smother us all.
