Pastime

Spending a few minutes doing something you like will inevitably stretch to hours.  Seems unfair that fun stuff is called a 'pastime'.  You're not really trying to pass time, it just happens.  If anything, you'd like it to slow time.

There's a half-eaten pan of brownies in the fridge.  They're calling me.  Gonna pass some time eating them.
