Need More Sunlight

Three more weeks exist of shorter days.  Ten days after that, it's another year.  Feels like it'll be dark too long.  

Does there exist a place in the Southern Hemisphere to experience the longer days without freezing?  They always show the locations in the north to experience the endless days and nights.  I don't really recall any places down south.
