In and Out Routes

Global catastrophes mercifully misalign.  Over time, ruts form in fate as common sense and luck work their magic, hopefully deterring the horrific.  Once in a while, though, something terrible gets through.

Don't be surprised if the past comes back when bad things find the path they made a long time ago.  Bad looks for the path of least resistance.  Years can't change that.  Eventually, something's going to roll down that nobody wants.
