Marketers aren't as smart as they think they are.  Yeah, they get all my meta-data, find out what I buy, and create a compound profile of my buying habits.  Then, with all that intelligence on me, they turn around and give me ads for THE STUFF I ALREADY BOUGHT.  Even worse, the ads actually make me regret buying the item, and LESS LIKELY TO BUY IT AGAIN.

I don't think they've thought this through.
