Blast Off TV

Since rogue astronauts have been popular lately, here's 'Heat Vision and Jack', a faux-TV series starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson, among others, and was produced by Ben Stiller. Jack Black plays an astronaut biker who solves crime. It made me laugh.

Naked-Eye Comet

A comet is currently visible in the morning and evening skies. It's close proximity to the sun in the sky makes it only visible for a short period after dawn and after dusk. Apparently, it is going to get brighter in the sky, and will move to a position in the night sky where it will be visible for longer periods.

Visible Universe

To the left is a nice little site that has a zoomable map of the visible universe. Pretty neat.
