Flying Wing

The military has a new replacement for the parachute. It can glide for up to 120 miles! Versions of it are fitted with engines that will propel it even further. I can envision more than just military uses for this thing, though. Imagine a commuter version that allows dozens of people to board a plane, and jump off, instead of having to transfer flights. Say you want to go to Birmingham, and your flight is from Atlanta to Memphis (just for the sake of argument... the flight wouldn't have to go that far) you could just jump off the plane and glide to your destination. That would be awesome! And, if you decide to go skydiving, this would be the way to go.
