Paying Rent to Sanders

Oh, how crooked our state government is. Wonder why we had such a huge budget deficit before, and such a surplus now? Our property tax, which is basically rent to the state, was increased slightly through a backdoor means. The slight increase in all of our property taxes is what supposedly closed the gap for the education budget deficit. We all know where that money goes...

This article somewhat shows my point. The fact is: We need to clean out all the pork, not raise taxes. All the blubbering about where the new revenue should go is bunk. It should go back in the pockets of the taxpayers, where it should have stayed in the first place.
